Club Night – The Great Sale of Wetherby
Members were entertained by Victor on the sale of land and property on the estate of Wetherby.

Breakfast Meeting
This proved very popular as nineteen members turned up for breakfast at Oakdale Golf Club.
It was nice to see so many attending .

Start Up Run – 12th April
Meet at Weetons Garden Centre at Pannal for coffee, 10.00am, to leave before 11.00am latest.
No booked seating but to congregate in the Bakehouse café area.
The run is approx 50 miles. Lunch is at the Wellington, Darley 1.30pm for 2.00pm.
Menu must be pre ordered by club night.

Saltburn – May 17th
We have again booked two beech huts, just bring seating and cups, we will provide tea and coffee..
Tractor Fest – June 6th/7th
David has booked ten passes for this show for Saturday and Sunday.
This has an excellent display of hundreds of old and new tractors and plenty of stalls for food and shopping.
You can attend one or both days.

…. 10 00am meet in the visitors centre cafe ( where we can get coffee)

… 10 45am walk down into the estate
… walk the full length of the estate just over 1 mile – budget 2 – 2.5 hours
… … through the abbey (on the grass)
… … then substantially on the flat via the hard path to the water garden
…. finally walk back (up hill) to the visitor centre via the deer park and St Mary Church – where Liz can tell you all about it
… I anticipate that we will be back at the visitor centre around 14 15pm
and after the tour –if members wish — we could finish the day with a late lunch
for those who may struggle walking
… firstly …. members may park at the free West gate ( flat access ) having first joined us for
coffee at the visitor centre
… secondly …. there is normally a mini bus to request a ride from / to the visitors centre to west gate and return from Studley
… finally – it may be possible to arrange in advance the free loan of electric buggy cars — the buggy cars have to be collected from and returned to the west gate entrance – buggies are not
allowed in the deer park – members should call the office to make arrangement — 01765 608888
