February 2022

AGM 2021

Roger Illingworth was elected Chair with Brian Perry elected as ViceChair.

The rest of the committee was returned as before with the exception of Roger Goulden who decided to step down.

George thanked him for his previous years contributions.

Although we have always welcomed anybody who has a love of motoring and cars, it has not always been obvious to everybody.

We have taken the action to change the name of the club to Harrogate MG and Classic Car Club to widen our appeal.

This will mean changes to various items and we are executing this steadily.

If anyone would like to help us promote this change please contact a committee member.

Plans include holding Sunday morning car meets, press statements and flyers to advertise the club.

January 30th - Sunday Lunch

Fourteen members met for lunch at The Millstones. Covid is still affecting numbers as four others had to cancel but venues are

being very understanding. Most of us opted for the carvery menu, they served you, to avoid too many handling spoons etc,

but you could have as much as you wanted. It was good value for money and we had a convivial time.
