members plus some juniors
enjoyed this day in the sun up at Middleham Gallops. It makes a nice relaxing break after the show.
route up there was challenging and certainly covered new ground for some of us.
Possibly looking for a new venue for next year, any suggestions would be welcome.
We had seven cars on our stand and a couple of others displayed elsewhere on the field.
It is a popular mixed event with everything from push bikes to big wagons and a number of fairground organs (fortunately not too close this year).
Night - Smiths Arms incorporating Pride of Ownership
Eighteen members brought their cars to the Smith’s and we were also joined, for drinks,
Mike and his family who brought along two midgets and a frogeye.
Whilst the dark evening slightly deterred some members from viewing the cars,
winner was chosen – Congratulations to John & Lynne Lumley with their MGC.
The evening, with good food and friendly chat, was enjoyed by all and it is hoped to
repeat the Pride of Ownership next year, but a little earlier in the year so we benefit from a lighter evening.
Jan and Paul Mitchell would like to thank everyone for their support for the Macmillan Coffee Morning.
massive £690 + gift aid was raised! So well done and thank you to everyone that
month we are presenting cheques to the following four charities as nominated by
